City of Maple Valley Branding

Problem:
For a class assignment, we were tasked with responding to an RFP to update the City of Maple Valley’s branding.

Solution:
To appeal to both businesses and residents, I created a graphic identity with bold, colorful iconography that represents the core aspects of the city: the trees, the businesses, the residences, and the waterways. I drew the colors from actual photos of Maple Valley and made green the main color due to the prevalence of trees in the city.
