Problem:
For a class assignment, we were
tasked with generating two random nouns and building a brand
strategy and graphic identity for an imaginary company with that
name. I chose the words "Honey" and "Hat."
Solution:
My concept for the imaginary
business "Honeyhat" was a sustainable Millennial outdoor apparel
brand with a social misson to support beekeeping. I developed three
draft logos for the company and ultimately selected this logo as the
strongest for the brand concept. The sleek text, combined with the
abstract honeycomb triangles, offers an upscale, modern feel. The
simplicity of the triangle shapes allows them to be read as both
beehives and as mountains, successfully capturing key aspects of the
business.
